Tahiya is our guest from Uganda, and on this Skype call, she shares her perspective on the effects of Coronavirus, curfew, and lockdown. She discusses the challenges of raising a 2-year-old without a job and shares her concerns for her family, especially her mother, who still needs to go out to work to ensure that she can still feed herself and continue to have a roof over her ahead. She can’t help any of them, and they can’t help her, as they all have too little to spare, especially when bills are still piling up. Tahiya struggles to also help her only employee in these difficult times. Despite her difficulties, she encourages others not to give up and press on.
